Hello Readers!

I'm so sorry for not updating this blog.
I am supposed to update it daily during Winter break but I've been busy having fun recently, so I don't have time to update this.


I went to Yokohama on Sunday with Yookwi, for sightseeing and playing skate.
Ikebukuro + Shinjuku on Monday with Pau and Max, souvenirs shopping day!

Had a lot of fun on both days!!

The sad thing is I rarely meet dorm people anymore.

I didn't know that Spring break can be this bored.

But I enjoy this kind of boring days
I get enough sleep.
I get enough food.
I get enough communication through MSN or Skype.
I always feel warm coz I don't go out.


So overall I love Spring Break.


Tokyo is still freaking cold...
I hate it.
It will be much warmer next week but I will be in Hokkaido then.
which means I wouldn't be able to enjoy it.

I will go to Hokkaido from 9th till 13th!
definitely can't wait for it! =]

and soon I will be back to my lovely dear home country, Indonesia.

night

It wasn't mizore, but the real snow
I never expeted that there will be snow in Tokyo so I was kinda excited and hate it in the same time.
I hate cold weather.
=]

It was snowing pretty hard at night so some people from my dorm went out to play with it.
snow fighting and making snowman.
until an old scary looking lady came to our dorm and shouted "URUSAI" (noisy) to us.

It's quite far from my place, around an hour.
But things there were so cheap!

Wednesday, 3 February 2010.
This day was such a long day.

I woke up at around 5.45 AM because I have volunteer activity at 8:25 and the place was so far, more it took more than an hour from my place.

Ayase Elementary School

It was such a precious experience and indeed very fun.

What I did ware just told a presentation to the children about Indonesia, how to say Konnichiwa in Indonesian and also play Rock Paper and Scissor.
I also got chance to have lunch together with the kids.

There were around 14 volunteers from around the world including me!
America, Thai, Singapore, China, Taiwan and Indonesia.

I love kids, really!
They were all 2nd graders and very cute & innocent.
and they were so excited to see us!

(I used to work part time as an elementary students English teacher assistant)

I also got chance to meet some other cool people!

I would like to do this kind of activity again!

and then I went back to Tanashi and finally I bought a rice cooker!


Then I went to sleep, playing with those genki children really made me tired, but it was totally worth it!

At night
I went to SILS Good Life The End of The Semester's Party in a club at Roppongi.
Again it was so much fun!
It was all you can drink so people really drank a lot and some got really drunk and I guess I was kinda drunk too, I was so sleepy.
I didn't take any pictures though, I'm waiting someone to upload my pictures in facebook.

well, overall that was so much fun!

Blogging at noon

Finally yesterday I decided to go to work instead of Harajuku.
and actually I wanted to go work again today, but the weather seems unfriendly with the thick black cloud.
The weather forecast says that rain will fall at around 6 PM and Mizore (rain mixed with snow) at midnight.
If I go to work, I'll go home at around 7 and it must be raining, so I decided not to go and cleaned my room.
My room is cleaner than before but still so messy!


I hate bad weather =[
and
Tokyo is getting cold again!

it's gonna be around 0 -9 degrees C next week.

for the day after tomorrow is: Volunteer program in an elementary school. (I wish I can wake up for this event)

hello Shinjuku

now it's 12:23
I'm blogging at midnight again today.

I woke up in hurry today and rushed to make my brunch, Mapo tofu.
then I went to school to attend the Japanese test part time job, but nobody was there.
it was 12:40

I went to the computer room and checked my email then I realized, It started at 14:40.


I felt like I was the most stupid person in earth!

and then I spent 2 hours by reading magazine and using internet in the library!

The job was so easy! Waseda should hold that kind of event more often
from the test I knew that my Japanese level is in the middle
I'm able to understand and use Japanese in daily life.

then I went to Shinjuku by bus for the first time.
I've been to Shinjuku for many times but I still got lost! esp inside the station when looking for the right exit.

I was looking for a book called Norwegian Woods ever since I was in Indonesia.
and today I found it at Kinokuniya, the English version of course =]
The author is Murakami Haruki, Waseda graduate!
he is my senpai!

Finally I got it!


If u buy book in Japan they will ask u whether u want it to be wrapped.


It was my first time buying book in Japan except school textbook!
It was rather fun, I will buy another book after I finished reading it

then I took a walk around Shinjuku and tried to find some stores which are still on sale.
and I got this top for 2000 Yen from Lawry's Farm at OIOI.

I plan to wear it in Indonesia!

I just realized how there are so many buttons which are inconvenient.



oh no! I love shopping but I don't have money
and I shopped things which are too thin that I can't use here!
anyway I will go back to Indonesia soon and I can wear em there

tomorrow, I mean, today is probably will be the last day for Winter Sale
right now I'm thinking whether I'd be better to go to Harajuku or work.

I woke up pretty late, had lunch and went to salon near my place.
Finally! after craving for a haircut for so long, I got it.


and then I went to Supermarket, did some grocery + snacks shopping and went back to the dorm.


and then went to baba and had a nomikai
It was fun!
here in Japan, there is no way to avoid alcohol
but I still can't drink much of it.

I was so culture shock before when first time I arrived here seeing how people love drinking.

I'm going to school later at noon to have a Japanese test and get paid for it! =]
what a nice job, but it's only for a day, 3 hours.

The Beginning of Spring Break

I'm on Spring Break right now!
=]
all the exams are officially over.
I will blog more often, probably daily coz I'm so free.

what I've been doing for these past 5 hours


Sleeping inside the blanket with my laptop!
but I also did my laundry and changed my bed sheet.


I've been looking forward to this spring break so I'll live this break to the fullest.
although my way to spend spring break isn't as cool as some other people.

A lot of my friends in this dorm are going to do volunteer activity this spring.
to Malaysia, Vietnam and even Kenya

I've never thought about doing volunteer before and neither my friends in Indonesia.
So I think this is so cool!

I would like to join one too in the future =]
after I work and earn a lot of money through part time job.

I will go to have a haircut in the noon and maybe I'll go to Shinjuku if I'm not lazy and then Chanpon's bday nomihodai party.


I really need something fun, I feel so old after studying all nighter for all the exams.

yesterday I met Chujo, my friend in the dorm after long time no see and this was our conversation:
C:"アメリア顔変わったね” = "your face changed"
A:”本当？そんなことないよ” = "really?no way"
C:”前はきゃぴきゃぴだった” = "you looked young/childish/active before"

and then later I saw myself in the mirror and discovered that I really look old now.
I will get my bangs back to make me look younger.
=p
and more sleep.


I wish Spring will come soon, I hate cold weather, I hate wearing thick clothes.

p.s: Japanese word for today is きゃぴきゃぴ (kyapi kyapi)
it's hard to be explained.
but it must be something means young/childish/lively/active or around those.
